James Juchau
Board Member
James Juchau is a Vice President at Greenhill & Co where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions advisory for corporate and private equity clients in the industrials sector.
James holds a BS in Economics and BA in Arabic Language from Brigham Young University and an MBA from The Wharton School and an MA in International Studies (focus on Arabic and the Middle East) from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
After experiences living in France and the Middle East and interacting closely with people from other cultures outside of his Midwest upbringing, including many asylum seekers, James developed a passion for refugee rights and ensuring that people coming to the US feel welcomed and supported. Since moving to the Chicago area in 2020 and being introduced to RefugeeOne by a co-worker, James and his family have been financial co-sponsors for newly arrived families, participated in numerous volunteer opportunities, organized a winter clothing drive with their local church congregation, and put newly arrived families needing help in contact with RefugeeOne.
James and his wife, Emily, live in Wilmette with their two very energetic boys.
